Let’s settle this with a dance off

I wrote this song about an ex girl friend of mine.  I wrote it in the form of a letter to the guy that she cheated on me with.  I made it kind of as a warning and a spite song.  The Line “if you think she’s good with her hands, you should see her work on her knees”  actually isn’t AS sexual as it may seem.  The hands does refer to “sex” but the knees refers to her begging for forgiveness, basically saying to “him”  If you think she is good at sex, wait until you see how good she is at begging for forgiveness.

Let’s settle this with a dance off

She’s a mess in a dress, you’re afraid she’s the best you can get, get over it

sit up straight and show a little class, is it too much to ask from a girl like that

She’s got you back on your knees, that was just a relapse in memory

It’s not that you’re better than her, I just know, It’d be hard to be worse

If you think she’s good with her hands, you should see her work on her knees

Straighten up and show some class

Whoa oh ohho, you keep it moving slow to stay in control when the lights go out

no telling what she’ll do when she gets her claws in you, no telling what she’ll do

She follows the attention like its her damn religion

Everyday spent stalking prey, but the guilt it never catches on

No the guilt it never catches on

Straighten up and show some class

Its her sweat shop words that rip and fall apart

they’re cheaper than her taste

and when the seams begin to rip

you’ll remember why you left

in the first place
